Team Preview
2018 Southern Section runner-up La Mirada returns to the Classic with a seasoned undefeated league team and ranked #17 in the country. Featuring both the 2019 and 2020 #2 ranked players in senior Darius Perry (C, UCLA) and junior Jared Jones (RHP, USC). The Matadors are host to six Dl commits including Perry, Jones, Emilio Morales (C, USC), Jimmy Blumberg (SS, Long Beach State), Eugene Jeon (3B, UC Santa Barbara and sophomore Isaiah Del Haro (IF, Wagner College).

Coaches Quote: Eric is just a gifted player. He is super athletic that is a throwback two-way player. His ability at the plate to drive the ball to all fields is special. On the mound he is a bulldog that loves to compete. I love coaching this gritty type of guy.
Andrew Pyle, C
