JP Smith, 3B Sr. | 6’2” | 235lbs Previous Season Stats: BA .356, R17, H 31, rbi 31, 2B 6, HR 4 Awards: 1st team all Sierra Foothill League College Commit: Sacramento State University Coaches Quote: JP has the power to change a game with one swing. He can hit for power and average. He is one of our best offensive players. He has quick hands and feet. Defensively he locks down third base for us with a good glove and above average arm strength across the diamond.
Preston Fondren, C/RF Sr. | 5’9” | 180lbs Previous Season Stats: BA .347, R16, H 25, rbi 10, 2B 5 Awards: Sierra Foothill League Honorable Mention College Commit: Uncommitted Coaches Quote: Preston is a great student of the game, probably our highest baseball IQ. As a catcher he handles the pitching staff with solid skills behind the plate. The knowledge and keen eye to pick out the little things hitters are not able to do. He is one of our most consistent hitters with a high contact rate and the ability to hit to all fields on average.
Brett Ott, SS Sr. | 6’1” | 165lbs Previous Season Stats: BA .392, R25, H 38, rbi 11, SB 13 Awards: 1st team all Sierra Foothill League College Commit: Sacramento State University Coaches Quote: Brett is a very versatile player that has a high baseball IQ. Brett also has good hands and feet as a defensive player. He is consistent at the plate. On the bases he can give the opposing team fits with his speed and ability to read pitchers.
