Co-host and 2013 Boras Classic State Champions the Monarchs are home to MLB alums infielders Danny Espinosa and Ryan McMahon. Featuring #21 ranked right-handed pitcher Hunter Cope (Arizona) and #4 ranked Alonzo Tredwell (P/1B, UCLA). With seven Dl commits the Monarchs come in to the Classic strong with CJ Rodriguez (C, Vanderbilt), Cameron Wheeler (RHP, UC Irvine) and Kyle Scott (RHP, Cal Poly).
